What Is Acne?
Acne vulgaris, colloquially known as acne or pimples, may also mean papules, pustules, comedones, nodules or cysts. While most commonly affecting teenagers, it can appear or last in people well into their 20’s, 30’s and 40s. Normally caused by stress or hormonal imbalance, acne occurs as consequence of either an excess or underproduction of oil in the skin.
Despite this, many treatment options are available, starting with a comprehensive consultation to discuss the best course of action through various treatment options and prescription of medications where required.
Treatment Process
Active Acne
Active treatment involves light-based remedies and 6-8 peel sessions (2 – 4 weeks apart), in addition to making skin clearer, smoother and more toned.- Inhibits fresh acne by:
